"Don't sacrifice what you want most for what you want now. Write down what you want most and see it often." ~Peter Vidmar

This quote is telling you  don't sacrifice something you really want to accomplish in the future for something you want right now. It is not worth it. Your future is way more important that just a temporary thing you might want. You might regret it later if you can't accomplish your future goal because of something you did. Something that wasn't even worth your future being sacrificed. For example if you want concert tickets for you birthday to go see  Bruno Mars but then a new phone just came out and your parents make you choose either the concert tickets or the phone and you choose the phone but the phone wasn't even as cool as you thought it would and you regret it. Then you tell your parents you want the concert tickets better they will most likely say no because you sacrificed the concert tickets for the phone. An example of what is the right thing to do would be lets say your friends invite you to the movies but you remembered you have a really important test to study for and your goal is to pass that test then you should stay home and study for that test and not let what you want now affect what you want later on.
